Dame Vera Lynn Down holds some of the wild flowers that now thrive in this meadow following the introduction of barley, like common vetch, bird’s-foot trefoil, crimson clover, yellow rattle, lady’s bedstraw, ox-eye daisy, and meadow buttercups.
