Dancing starts as the sun sets and conversation flows as the glasses chink. Emma’s atmospheric scene evokes a bygone era in which bohemian and theatrical people dance the night away. Inspired by a painting by Toulouse-Lautrec entitled ‘Marcelle Lender Dancing in the Bolero in Chilperic’ from 1895, Emma thought many people will be enjoying a good ‘knees up’ outside in the fresh air, when lockdown ends, and so the idea for her design was born.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThis design has great meaning for us too in the 21st century, as July 19th 2021 is the day that the majority of social distancing measures will be removed here in the UK. For some of us, friends or family will be joining in our celebrations, while for others it may be a garden party just for two. The numbers do not matter.
